Why Do People Buy Stuff?
As a TikTok Shop Affiliate, our main goal is to get people to buy the products that we promote…
However, not many people sit down and really ask themselves the question…
“What makes people buy in the first place…?”
Let’s Break it Down…
People buy for two main reasons:
To move away from pain.
To move towards pleasure.
Before you create a TikTok Shop video, ask yourself:
What pain does this product solve?
What pleasure does this product create?
Then finally, give people a reason to act now!
You often see this strategy used in TikTok Shop videos like this:
Start by explaining the pain. Then, talk about how the product solved that pain and introduced pleasure. Then finally, give a reason to buy now, like a sale or limited inventory.
